So apparently, I managed to contract the chickenpox :-( I've never had them before and at 25 I am going absolutely bonkers quarantined in my house having to deal with this full body itch I can't scratch! Aside from oatmeal baths (of which I have been taking A LOT) does anybody have an idea of anything else I can do for some relief? Tia!

a really good non-store-bought solution would be to make up a paste of bicarb soda (sodium bicarbonate/baking soda) with a little water and slather it on. It dries then crumbles off, so the relief is only temporary. If you are sitting around doing not much a warm bath (not too hot, just warm/skin temp) loaded with bi-carb can help too, that way it won't crumble and you get the relief. Stack up some zines or books and soak away your misery. Oh. And cupcakes might help too. Just on the distraction angle.

feeling your pain.

I have been soaking in the tub nearly all day, lol! I'll try the baking soda paste, thank you!

Also, my husband made me some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies so I am good to go in that department ;-)
